It's only a theory. I've been reluctant to press for questions so soon after their rescue. I know they've been through quite an ordeal.

But you've more interactions with the green-eyed spirits than the rest of us. Murdering us wouldn't be difficult. If you feel they've tried to help you in the past, there's no reason to believe they aren't still trying to do so. In their own way.

Have they given you a lantern like that before? And has anything changed for you since?

Trying to help us in their own way... Man you do have a point, since that's def how I felt about them busting in here and giving me that lantern. Like, they were very NOT NICE to me, but... idk! I just got a feeling.

Maybe because you're right? Why mess with us if they just wanna kill us?

The only time I'd even ever seen a green-eyed spirit myself was when they broke in here. I've been searching the records a bunch since then and there's nothing I can find about them interacting directly with anyone in town? There have been a bunch of deaths that were at least speculated to be a result of a green-eye attack, but that's all I can find. I didn't even know there were this many of them. Like, where the hell have they been all this time, you know?

Buuut no, nothing's changed. I sent the lantern off to Dr. Solis and she thinks it used to belong to an old Lighthouse Keeper, but that's all I got so far.

I can understand how capable they are, but if they really wanted us dead, why not just destroy our lanterns and be done with it? Why bring one to you?

For that matter, why eat other spirits in the first place?

I'll keep an eye out, and follow up with Dr Solis about the lantern, to see if we might have a lead. I'm sure it's only a matter of time until the Hunt addresses us as well. Would you like me to keep you in the loop?
