Just for the record, I'm absolutely not going to encourage them to eat any other planets and I'm not a big fan of death and/or murder being the grand resolution to problems.

This place being this universe? I've heard of creatures similar to the World Eaters (who NAMED them that, by the way? Sure, to the point and very self-explanatory, but it's not very snappy, you know?). Not the same but there could be something in it.

Unrelated, but I can absolutely see why it might look related - how much are you privy to? About all of us. Where we're from.

They were called the Inheritors. They travelled between worlds feeding on life forces, which is exactly as gross as it sounds. Really strong, really difficult to stop, but with a surprising weakness to radiation. From what I understand, killing them was out of the question, so for a while they were stuck in a tower on a radioactive version of Earth which meant they couldn't leave OR cause any more harm.

[ and then OTTO FUCKING OCTAVIUS— ]

How's it going up there, by the way? Now you're connected back to the network.

I'm not saying it'd be the same, because that'd be a really weird coincidence. (Serendipity?) But -- yeah. There's got to be options that don't involve dying, you know?

It is, right? Apart from the world eating and the life-force feeding. Almost like a hair metal band from the 80s.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but: no-one's actually seen you. You're still kind of a mystery entity, just one with access to a slightly creepier version of Yahoo! Groups.

Oh, you know. The usual. It's dark. Weirdly quiet. I miss pop tarts way more than I thought I would.

...Do you have an oven up there?

For a 35 year old, you look great. Maybe share the secrets of your moisturizing routine as well.

[ h...ow else is he supposed to respond to that?

and robin, i hope you realise that peter's whole reason for asking was because his thought process went from: I miss poptarts to I also miss pizza to hey, what does robin eat? ]

Honestly? Any of the ones with frosting.

[ but then, not even thirty seconds later: ]

No, that's a lie. Blueberry.

I'd say I don't know how much you can really age when you've got a 2 year time limit, but I've SEEN what stress can do to a man.

You mean, Rastus can't bring you bubble tea? Or pumpkin spice and a can of Reddi Wip?
