Hi! So Rosinante was telling me about the whole reset thing. And I get that you have to hide the lights? From the World Eaters? But do you have to kill us? Isn't there a bunker somewhere we could hide out?

I wish it worked like that.

The whole point of a reset is to erase the, like... life energy footprint we're leaving. Or something like that. The World Eaters can sense us - our lanterns, more specifically.

But, the good news is, that's a long ways off!! I don't want you guys to worry so much about how to avoid the reset, since the best thing you can do to make sure it doesn't happen is to just, like, forge ahead, you know? Explore the town and see if there's something we missed out there...

Couldn't we put the lanterns out? Temporarily? Like, I know it's tied to our lives or whatever. I don't really get that, but it's fine. Different issue. But what if they just temporarily went out? I mean, we're dead already, right? Or couldn't you send us back instead? Make us not dead?

I mean, shouldn't you be bringing in soldiers to kill them? The Life Eater things? Surely there are smaller, younger ones or eggs or whatever that people could set fire to or something? I don't see why normal people like me are here.

How is exploring this dark little town going to help?
