forest spirit language instructions
Aug. 11th, 2019 10:32 pmIn September's intro log, Robin hooked everyone up with ocarinas (that can now be found in the general store!) and basic instructions for a handful of "phrases" in forest spirit language, which is based on musical notes. From this point forward, these instructions will automatically appear on every tablet in the form of a simple app.
The app contains playing instructions and example audio files for the following messages:
- A friendly greeting!
- An assurance that equates to "I come in peace".
- A short melody that translates roughly to polite terms like please, thank you, and you're welcome.
- A shrill note that asks for help.
- The rough equivalent to "Danger! Run and hide!"
- The rough equivalent to "I'm lost" or "Need directions"
- The rough equivalent to "Looking for water" or "Thirsty"
- The rough equivalent to "Looking for food" or "Hungry"
- The rough equivalent to "Sympathy" or "I'm sorry"
- The rough equivalent to "Teach me"
